Burning tests

Burn tests are among the most safety-relevant tests for vehicle interior materials. Only if the materials are flame-retardant or only burn at low speed do occupants have enough time to get to safety in the event of a vehicle fire.

We use standardised methods to determine the burning behaviour of interior materials. We carry out burning tests in accordance with FMVSS 302, TL 1010, DIN 75200 and ECE 118, among others.
